Easy diet plans for women have become a fad, women switching from one diet plan to another when they do not find results in just a week or two. It is best to find what diet plan suits you best without sacrificing too much, and stick to it.
One of my favorite easy diet plans is the fixed-menu. From the term itself, you have a list of foods to eat. The good thing with this diet is it is simple and easy to follow. However, eventually it gets boring because of the limited choice of food. In addition, you become totally dependent on the list because you have no idea how to fix your own menu to maintain your new weight. Proper food selection is not taught in this kind of diet.
Exchange-type diet plan, on the other hand, teaches you the appropriate servings from each food group to maintain a slim physique. Each food group is composed of foods that are of the same amount of calories. Therefore, you can interchange them whenever you want to. If a breakfast menu requires two choices of starchy food, you can have a two slices of bread or half a cup of oatmeal plus a slice of bread, both having the same calories and nutritional value. With this setup, you do not get sick of having the same meal everyday.
One of the common easy diet plans for women is the formula diet where a liquid formula replaces breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. These formulas are already balanced diets and are commonly sold in powdered form if not in liquid. These are concentrated so they are mixed with water or other juices. The result is fast with this diet, but once you stop, you quickly gain back the weight that you have lost.
There is also the prepackaged-meal diet but it is costly because you have to buy pre-packed meals. The advantage of this is that you know the right portion per food so you will know next time how to keep your weight when the diet is over. Before you select this as your easy diet plan, check first if you can afford it.
Even if there are many easy diet plans for women, be careful in choosing what is yours. Choose the one that you will enjoy and learn how to keep the weight you have successfully achieved after.
